Apple Keen On Committing To Augmented Reality In 2020

Even though Tim Cook, Apple CEO has kept quiet about the company's future plans for Augmented reality, he did not shy away from calling it “the next big thing”. Industrial analysts predicted that all the iPhone's and iPad's build this year have inbuilt AR equipment. That is the reason why they are so optimistic about Apple's rumored AR Glass.

Most of us know about AR because of the game Pokemon Go. This tech overlays the computer-generated images onto the real world. But one must not confuse it with Virtual Reality (VR), as it completely replaces the real world.

Since the company's CEO is a big booster of this tech and believes that it will pervade everyone's lives, there is a huge scope of its inclusion. According to him, it will totally change the way the audience interacts with the digital data. The world is waiting for this tech to evolve a bit more so that the developers can make use of it to deliver exquisite user experiences.

Since Apple already has its ARKit software build into the iPhone and iPad, there is no scope that it is going to miss out on development in any way. Soon the software will move into AR hardware as well. According to Tom Mainelli,  Group VP of Device and Consumer Research at IDC, Apple must promote the new capabilities of AR hardware, so that the audience can upgrade their old phones.

If you too will broaden your thinking horizon, then you will find out that making iPhone and iPad AR compatible is just the first step towards a greater objective. According to a glut of industries, the future launch of Apple AR Glasses would be the inflection point in consumer augmented reality. According to experts, the future launch of glasses would make different enterprises gravitate towards the device. The launch would also reflect that AR is doing well as a technology. It would not only increase the field of view to a great extent but would also allow the hands-free operations.

It would be interesting to see the company coming up with its launch of AR glasses this year. If you don't want to miss any update regarding the same, then make sure you stay hooked to this space.
